This Construction Leadership Course was designed by contractor executives to expose leaders in construction to the many facets of construction business management. From personal leadership development to the daily intricacies of running a construction company, the intent of this course is to strengthen your skills specific to construction management and leadership.

Course 1: Friday, January 23 and Friday, January 30
Understand and build on your leadership strengths with the Birkman Assessment course.
Successful leaders must understand their own behavior, how others interpret it, and how to communicate effectively, especially under pressure.
Prior to the class, attendees will complete the Birkman Assessment to identify your personal strengths and leadership style. Participants will receive a personalized report outlining their interests, strengths, needs, and stress behaviors. The session includes exercises that help participants understand their motivational drivers, recognize how unmet expectations can trigger stress behaviors, and identify the impact these reactions can have on team dynamics. By the end of the session, participants will better understand how to reduce conflict, improve communication, and leverage the strengths of themselves and others to build high-performing, resilient teams.
